Miguel Pommier picked up this cross in an open market in the town of Erdinger, Germany. He shares the story:

"I would like to introduce you to Rolf. I was in Erdinger, Germany in October 2014 and came across Rolf who was selling his wood carvings in the open market.

"I asked him if he was selling any crosses, and he said he used to make them, but they did not sell. I told him, 'I see angels and the nativity scenes, but the cross is the most important art of the story.'

"I asked if he would be willing to make me a couple of crosses, and as he was making them, I shared the Gospel with him... several other stood around watching him make the crosses.

"Before he was done, he said, 'I want to know this Jesus you are talking about,' and prayed to receive Christ."
